DOWN SYNDROME
Our oldest son has Down syndrome. He is maker of joy and a great big brother.
ADOPTION
Our daughter is a spitting image of me except for the image. We've been inseparable since she was 6 weeks old. Basketball is our thing.
COACHING
I spend a lot of time on our 7th grade girls Barnstormers basketball team. That's because of Emma. She's a great point guard.
LATIN DANCE
Salsa, Merengue, Bachata - few things are more fun then dancing. What else combines music, movement, and socializing? I love to perform and teach too. Most of my friends in Philadelphia were through dance. I haven't plugged in to the community in Iowa yet.
TECHNOLOGY
In my work life I focus on digital marketing including websites, content management, writing, social media, SEO, PPC, video production, apps, CRM systems. I also spend a lot of time reading about robotics, nanotechnology, transportation, gene therapy and medical advances. Love Syfy!
COMMUNITY
Community matters. Now in Iowa City, I'm particularly interested in school issues, downtown development, smart growth initiatives, and startup business incubators.
